Location: Drawbridge Inn; Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, 1-800-354-9793. This location is across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio and is very near the Cincinnati airport. The hotel provides spacious parking for RV’s and an airport shuttle service. The room rate for all standard rooms is $76 plus tax (currently 11.24%). Itinerary:
Wednesday, Sept. 24: Arrival Day, registration begins at noon, guests can socialize in the spacious history and hospitality rooms.
Thursday, Sept. 25: Tour #1, Board buses at 10:00 AM, sightseeing tour of the River Center District, 11:30 AM visit the World Peace Bell, then a self guided tour of the Cathedral Basilica, 1:00 PM lunch at the Hofbrauhaus, bus departs for the hotel at 2:15 PM. Lunch will be your choice of Bratwurst (pork sausage), Mettwurst (beef sausage), Bierwurst (spicy pork/beef sausage), grilled chicken sandwich (served on Kaiser bun topped with Swiss Cheese & Mayo plus fries) or a Gardenburger (made from whole grains, cheeses & mushrooms and served on a Kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, red onion, honey mustard dressing and fries). Cost including lunch: $45 per person.
Friday, Sept. 26 Tour #2, Board buses at 10:00 AM, sightseeing enroute to the dock where we’ll arrive at approximately 11:30 AM for a noon departure on a 3-hour lunch cruise and memorial service aboard the Queen City, then return to hotel by bus. Cost: $50 per person.
Saturday, Sept. 27: 9:00 AM: Members business meeting. 6:00 PM: Banquet followed by live music by The Impossibles from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Banquet menu is salmon or beef. Banquet cost: $35 per person.
Sunday, Sept. 28: Departure Day
